WAMAward winners of the 2017 Best Country Act, The Little Lord Street Band, have recently been described as "An emotionally rich and perfectly delivered performance" (Matt Cal - RTRfm) and

"Country informed power pop spun through layers" (Lyndon Blue - Cool Perth Nights).

LLSB feature some of the most respected writers, singers and players of the indie, roots and Americana bands of Perth.

This 5-piece channels classic electric guitar riffery, multi-part male/female harmonies, brilliant life-lived lyrics and a performance that you can't sit down for. Well you could, but you wouldn't want to.

LLSB are testament to that new generation celebrating all that is great about rock, blues, pop and country. It's fun, immediately moreish and a great sound to have in your ears. The songs are new and they stand on strong foundations.

Originally formed as a wedding request in New Zealand, the duo became a band in a Mount Lawley bedroom nestled off Lord Street back in 2014. When asked at a gig what their name was, 'The Little Lord Street Band' became official.

These guys have supported the likes of The Whitlams, Ruby Boots, Emily Barker, Mick Thomas (Weddings, Parties, Anything), Ed Kowalczky (Live), Jack Carty (VIC), The Once (CAN), This Way North (VIC) and played with local music mates Ralway Bell, Kill Devil Hills, Belle Harvey, Delilah Rose and The Gunslingers, Salary, Stoney Joe, Simone and Girlfunkle, Davey Craddock, Helen Shanahan, Pete Byfield, The Tommyhawks, Boom! Bap! Pow! and Justin Walsh.

Festival stages in W.A to get the LLSB treatment include Fairbridge Folk Festival, Nannup Festival, Boyup Brook Country Music, Harvey Dicksons Rodeo, Beauvine, State of The Art, Beaufort Street Festival, WAM Festival, Port City Folk Festivals as well as North Freo Pub Crawl, RTR Harbour Sessions and Hidden Treasures.

On the recording front, the band recorded their second EP 'Walk With Me' in 2016 at The Bomb Shelter in Nashville with help from Bex Chilcott (aka Ruby Boots) and followed this up with a successful launch tour across Victoria early 2017.

Off the back of their latest popular single 'Maybe I'm Just In Love', recorded at Rada Studios Perth and paired with a video clip by Fremantle filmmaker Tashi Hall, The Little Lord Street Band are set to release another single 'Heartache Moon' in January 2018 followed by their third EP due out in April with national touring dates to be announced soon after.
