The Nomadics

Sunday 1st April, 3pm. Free entry.

The Nomadics is the musical union of Dave Mann (We Two Thieves, Dave Mann Collective) and Bec Schofield, singing stories of the people and places they encounter in their off-grid, nomadic life.

Developing artistic alliances across cultures, friendships and a strong affinity for this special country, their songs are inspired from their love of the land and family which, while rich and rewarding, is not devoid of challenge or for the faint of heart.

Bec and Dave's intimate music features soothing harmonies that meld into one through their favoured single-microphone performances.

Mandolin, Irish bouzouki, slide and open-tunings come together to create their unique form of soul country music with its roots in folk blues.

Bec and Dave awaken a campfire in the hearts of audiences wherever they go.

The Nomadics supported The Waifs during their Ironbark tour last year, but are just as comfortable playing intimate concerts or acoustic shows from the deck of their vegetable-oil fuelled housetruck.
